Our Services

The Group aims to serve the local community, filling a need that is not available elsewhere, and aims to provide the following services:

• Opportunities for all members to support each other and anyone else who is affected, directly or indirectly, by this disease.
• Providing information and details of locally available resources.
• Raising awareness of this disease, both locally and Nationally.
• Recognising the very important role that self-support has for cancer sufferers and, as a consequence, the social aspect of this group has a high priority.
• Organising local PSA testing events and subsidising costs where possible.
• The Group welcomes donations and is engaged in fundraising to help run local PSA testing events.
• Support is also given to other local services where those suffering from prostate cancer may benefit, including providing equipment for hospital use.
